What I want to be when I grow up
I would like to be a scientist in the field of Oceanology. I like this because Oceanology is about ocean creatures. If I was an oceanologist I would work for National Geographic and go to the Mariana Trench. It is in the Pacific Ocean, east of the Mariana Islands and to the south of Japan. The Mariana Trench is the deepest point.
I would find the coolest creatures in human history and the ugliest creatures and proof that the Megalodon is real! The Mariana Trench has terrifying creatures such as gulper eels and angler fish. The largest crab is the spider crab. It is 10 feet tall – mind blowing!
I will make Sri Lanka a better place. But how am I going to do that? Well, by stopping the pollution of Sri Lanka and stopping global warming. After searching everything, I will find more creatures and discover the Titanic treasures, gold, gems and explore the Bermuda Triangle. Why? Because it is so dangerous…

If you could have any secret super power what would you and why?
The secret super power I would love to have is Invisibility. The best thing is that I can prank people who and selfish, mean and ignorant. I can conk them on the head with a stick or drench them with water. It could also come in handy when I play Hide-and-seek. I could become invisible and the others won’t see me but I would see them! I can even use it to do practical jokes and to do good deeds without being seen, to avoid being praised about it.
I would keep my super power secret and not let even my closest family members know. If people did find out about it they’d be tracking me down and then isolating me. If it was medieval times I would be burnt to death. Now, of course I’ll find myself being poked around and being tested like I was an alien.

Write about three places you would like to travel to someday. What do these three places have in common?
If someone asks me, “tell me three places you would like to travel to,” I wouldn’t go for the common places like the beach but I would choose something totally different…
The first place I would go to is the lake Loch Ness in Scotland. It is a large, deep, freshwater loch extending over 37 km southwest of Inverness. The surface is 16 m above sea level. Why would I go there? Loch Ness is best known for sightings of the mythical creature, the Loch Ness Monster also known as ‘Nessie’.
The second place would be the Pyramids of Giza, in Egypt. Also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, it is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Pyramid Complex. This is the oldest of the ‘Seven wonders of the ancient world’. This was the tallest man-made structure for more than 3000 years.
The third place I would like to go to is… space or the so called universe. I would like to explore each and every corner which is still today impossible, but someday someone will and I want to be that person. A mystery that keeps getting interesting for me is, ‘Are we alone? Is there something called extra-terrrestials?’ To solve the riddle I am looking forward to go to space…
Now what do these places all have in common? The answer is they are all full of mysteries. I would like to solve all the mysteries like extra-terrestials or Nessie or even the Yeti or Bigfoot. So, these are my places. What will be yours?
