Why I like to go to school
My school is the best place in my life. I like my school because my teachers are kind to me. I have a lot of friends in my school. My school has a big playground; I play with my friends in it. My school is the most enjoyable place for me.
I like the prayer assembly in my school. The school pupil leader conducts the assembly every day. My school is well known for its education system. Students in my school are never forced to study just for passing through. In school, I learn how to have good behaviour towards elders as well as one another. Teachers always explain and give lectures on the importance of good manners. I learn all kinds of games to develop my body and mind. I learn to be brave and hard-working and to think for myself. All this helps to build up character.

An unforgettable adventure
The unforgettable adventure in my life was a trip to Wilpattu National Park. We went to Wilpattu on August 17, 2018. We reached the park area and walked towards the tents which were in the middle of the jungle. Walking along the narrow path covered by bushes gave me a shiver and I felt a chill go down my spine.
After lunch, we started our adventurous safari deep into the jungle in a jeep. We saw many wild animals, birds and insects but it was so scary to see two crocodiles fighting each other and a fierce leopard eating animal flesh. It was very dark when we returned. In the tent we couldn’t sleep because of the sounds of wild animals, scary birds and noisy insects.
The next day morning, we went on a village walk. While walking, suddenly the guide asked us to hide behind the bushes saying that there is a wild elephant called ‘Ambaya’ in the vicinity. Nevertheless Ambaya saw us and started chasing us. The guide was clever enough to make sounds and signs which made the elephant stop chasing us.
This trip is the most unforgettable adventure in my life.

A most enjoyable concert or play
Music is an essence of life. It is like a pill with which we get our lives cured. It’s a different world which we can explore and never get tired. Listening to songs nowadays is a famous way of entertainment. In that manner I am personally obsessed with the songs of the famous singer Ed Sheeran.
For the last August vacation we flew to Canada to with my uncle’s family whom we met after five years. We spent valuable time during our visit to Toronto in Canada.
On the 25th when we left our motherland for the tour I enjoyed some songs while we were flying. I was amazed when my aunt said that she had booked two tickets for Ed Sheeran’s concert. My aunt knew that I’m an Ed Sheeran fan and she too loved listening to him. We dressed quickly. I was in my best attire. My uncle dropped us at the Rogers Center in Toronto. There was a stall which sold fancy T-shirts printed with the word ‘Perfect’. My aunt purchased two T-shirts.
We enjoyed very happily. My aunt and I sang the lyrics of the songs that Ed performed. He was dazzling in the middle of the stage, surrounded by many co-singers and his musicians.
The performance of ‘Perfect’ which is from the album ‘Divide’ was amazing. Ed Sheeran was at his best. The audience switched on their flashlights and waved. It was an amazing and extraordinary sight.
When the concert was done we felt sad. I felt like staying there but my aunt explained that concerts and such should just be a leisure or recreational act. Keeping this advice in mind, we left. We reached home and explained to everyone those holly jolly moments that we had in the Rogers Center.
It was a very interesting time spent during my vacation and it was the most enjoyable and unforgettable concert in my lifetime.
