Plans for the new school term
I will wear my new school uniform, with a new hair band. I will come prepared with all supplies I need such as pencils, folders and whatever else I will be need. Once I’ve covered the basics, I might tuck some money in my school bag for an emergency – like forgetting my lunch money.
The first day of school is my first chance to find my way around a new school, to learn pathways to new classes. It’s a lot to learn in one day.
- Eat a healthy breakfast
- Get enough sleep
- Use good work habits, like writing down my assignments and turning in my homework on time
- Take my time with school work
- If I don’t understand something, ask the teacher
The new teachers and good and kind and don’t scold much!
The canteen is crowded with many students. Everyone is excited about the new term and having a good time.

In addition to basic survival needs such as food, air and shelter, what are three things that you would need to be happy?
Everybody needs food, water, air and shelter to survive. Many of us need other things to live happily. Likewise, I need nature, freedom and someone to like me too.
I cannot bear it if anyone were to dislike me. I would do almost anything to please about anybody. And I think there is no point in living if nobody likes you.
Nature is the sea, the sky, the trees, the animals and the birds. The animals and birds are always up and running in the day, living life in their sweet ways. It is a joy to watch them hunting for food, to see them running and flying, to see the in action. It is lovely to sit still and watch the sky change colours and the waves swimming in the sea. Nature is magically wonderful.
Freedom is another thing that I need to be happy. If I could do what I want, when I want, the way I want, wherever I please, life would be heaven. I need freedom to be happy. I need to be able to do as I please, and not what I must. I want to have that freedom. I want to be able to play, to read, to have fun and laugh without having to study. That is also what I want to be happy.
There are other things that I need to make me happy but nature, freedom and love are all I need. They are enough to make me happy.
