My school sportsmeet
Last year my school held a sportsmeet. The participants had to warm-up, before the activities began. Some did stretching exercises while others got their sporting gear organized.
On this occasion, the school building was nicely decorated with flowers and balloons. Teachers and students were on duty. The sportsmeet began in the morning. The first item was the races. There were 100 m races. The hurdle race was enjoyable. It was great fun when the girls jumped to pluck an apple tied high up. Then the cycle race began. The 3 km cycle race was worth watching many cyclists took part in it. After the races came the jumps – the long jump and the high jump.
The sportsmeet finished in the evening. The chief guest gave away the prizes. The competitors stood in a semi-circle. They came one by one to take their prizes. We returned home happily. Mina Chand (10 years)

What you think will be the future for cell phones
The word ‘phone’ comes from the Greek word phõnĕ, which means sound or voice – generally a device connected with sound. The world has developed and will still continue to do so. Therefore people wouldn’t use the phone as it is used now but in a more developed manner.
Smart phones will become obsolete by 2025. The reason behind this disappearance is due to the advancement in augmented reality. Users believe that artificial intelligence will take over many tasks that the smart phone does. Based upon phone-customer behaviour, I imagine the future phones will rely more on integrating our physical lives with our digital lives.
They will be built to other devices and products. Imagine a pair of glasses that can display a digital overlay on top of your physical surroundings. In another 25 years, the cell phone will be like our life partner. The physical, social and mental relationships among humans might no longer exist.
We will also be like robots with human bodies. Life will be super busy. Parents will have lesser or rather no time at all for children and children will make their cell phones, their parents.
Therefore we all must be aware to make use of technology to a limit and remember to make time for our family and friends.
